Your participation will make MyEugene a better resource for all. Here’s a few ideas on how you can take part:

Share Stories

1. You can “tweet” your favorite stories, videos, and photos using the “Tweet This Post” link at the bottom of each article.

2. You can share your favorite stories, videos, and photos using the “ShareThis” button at the bottom of each article.

Click on the stars under each story:

1 star = least favorite
10 stars = most favorite

Contribute News

So, before we go any further, what is news?

If you have any information that you consider news worthy, please submit it to MyEugene. You don’t need to be a writer, journalist, best-selling author, reporter or columnist to submit a story or news item. Note: All submitted material will receive proper attribution. So please include:

Author’s name, email and link to profile/blog/website (if available)
If someone helps you edit your piece, feel free to share his/her name too.

Although, as a not-for-profit news site with limited editorial resources, we will always do our best to polish (edit for spelling and grammar) all story submissions.

Sometimes it helps to share your story with a friend, family member or colleague for review too – before submitting it to MyEugene.

If you have a video clip you’d like to share, you have two options:

1. Post it to YouTube or Google Video and email us the link
2. Email us and we’ll either pick it up in person or share instructions on how to upload it to MyEugene
