I’d like to encourage the organizers to include a few of the long standing flat space clients on this panel.

There are countless long standing clients that could serve on such a panel. The flat space clients represent a broad spectrum of the business community, and contribute the majority of the profits to the center itself. Such consumer and trade show producers contribute massive economic impact to Lane County and the TRT raised thru their events. In fact, our three weeks of home shows contribute nearly 20 million in incremental economic impact to Lane County.

We urge the organizers to include at least one professional event manger/client on the July 28th panel. We will attend to be a part of the discussions about the future of the fairgrounds which has served as a major economic incubator for all of Lane County.

Thanks for your comment. And I agree. It’s a reasonable request. Can you please define “flat-space client” for us?

“Flat Space” means open, flat concrete space (with NO arena-style seating), with electrical available in the floor to run shows & events, which is rentable for exhibit space.
