KIDZ ROCK will perform on July 14 at 6:00 p.m. during Summer in the City, downtown at Broadway and Willamette.
During the performance, Eugene’s best skateboarders will demonstrate their skills in a show of support for the Washington / Jefferson Skatepark. City of Eugene’s skateboard instructors will be on hand with skateboards and helmets to help youngsters who want to try skateboarding!
At the event, attendees can also learn how to reduce their chances of becoming a victim of crime. Eugene Police Crime Prevention Experts will be on hand to discuss the latest safety tips and programs.
In addition, M.E.C.C.A. is hosting an imagination station for children and adults to create their own themed art projects: stickers, hats out of paper bags, headbands, masks, shoe art, face painting and much more!
The event is free; however, a donation of one can of food or $1 per adult to benefit Relief Nursery is suggested.
