EwasteBondRd1University of Oregon students and University neighborhood residents are encouraged to drop off unwanted working and nonworking electronics at a special event – hosted by NextStep Recycling – on Saturday, June 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Drop-off locations include:

  • Cafe Yumm! 730 West Broadway Eugene, OR
  • University of Oregon Duck Store 895 East 13th Avenue Eugene, OR

The safe disposal of electronics is now required by law in Oregon. Also, at this particular event, residents who recycle can receive either $1.00 off coupon for a Yumm bowl at Café Yumm! or your choice of a FREE house coffee or 50% off any mocha or latte at the University of Oregon Duck Store.

Laptops, CD players, iPods, alarm clocks, televisions, cameras, lamps, computers, typewriters, and other electronics will be accepted at this one-day event.
