Eugene Police arrest two men for robbing UO student at gunpoint

Eugene Police arrested two men for Armed Robbery this evening.

At around 6:23 p.m., Eugene Police responded to report of a street robbery in the area of East 14th and Patterson. Two men approached a University of Oregon (UO) student on foot and robbed him of his backpack at gunpoint. The two men then fled the scene.

According to Eugene Police, officers responded to the area and located the two suspects. Jason Draper and Bryan Baack – both UO students of Eugene – were taken into custody without incident and lodged at the Lane County Jail for committing Armed Robbery in the second degree.

The stolen property was recovered.
