by Jaculynn Peterson on June 8, 2010

PeteSorenson Lane County Commissioner Pete Sorenson is hosting a Town Hall meeting on June 22 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. to connect with South Eugene residents on issues or concerns they’d like to discuss.

The meeting will be held at the Hilyard Community Center, 2580 Hilyard Street in Eugene.

Commissioner Sorenson wants to hear from community members about issues facing South Eugene residents now, and in the future.

“The Lane County Board of Commissioners has made a commitment to engage the communities they serve. These town halls are an avenue for residents to get involved in their County government,” according to Lane County Public Information Officer Amber Fossen.
