UPDATE as of 9/22/09 at 4:03 pm: Justin Allen Christie was located and taken into custody last night by Eugene Police near the area of 8th Avenue and Monroe Street.
Eugene Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Justin Allen Christie, a 21-year-old white male. Christie is wanted on a felony probation violation warrant and may possibly have been involved in two recent street robberies.
Earlier today, shortly before noon, an officer recognized Christie in the area of West 7th Avenue and Van Buren. An attempt was made to contact Christie, who subsequently fled on foot.
Do not attempt to contact Christie directly as it is unknown whether or not he may be armed. Instead call 9-1-1 or leave information anonymously on the Eugene Police Tip Line at 541.682.8888.
