Registration has begun for the 2009-2010 Sustainable Building Advisor class (scheduled to accommodate working professionals), which starts in October. To learn more about the certificate program, a FREE informational meeting will be held on July 8 from 6 to 7 pm at the Eugene Public Library, Tyson Room.
The Sustainable Building Advisor (SBA) program is a nine-month interactive course that explores the core tenets of sustainability – People, Profit, and Planet – and trains students how to apply sustainable concepts to residential and commercial buildings in the areas of design, development, and construction.
Offered in 20 locations nationwide, the SBA program is an approved US Green Building Council (USGBC) Education Provider and partner of the Cascadia Sustainability Academy. More than 500 working professionals have graduated from the program since its inception and more than 350 have passed the certification exam since 2005.
RSVP to Elaine Vidal by email or call 541.463.3154.
