by Jaculynn Peterson on June 13, 2009

At 3:20 am, a newspaper delivery person called 9-1-1 to report the sound of breaking glass at the Bethel School District administration building. Eugene Police arrived on scene and heard loud noises echoing from inside.

Officers arrested 19-year-old Ryan Dian Hershey, who initially eluded police by fleeing the scene on foot, and charged him with Burglary in the Second Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, and Interfering with Police.

UPDATE (as of 6-14-09 at 9:19 am): Eugene Police have also charged Hershey with the burglaries at Hair West and Gourley State Farm Insurance.
