Over the weekend, more than 100 laptops and other electronic equipment – estimated at over $100,000 – were stolen from Howard Elementary at 700 Howard Avenue and Harris Elementary at 1150 East 29th Avenue. Police want your assistance in solving these burglaries.
If you purchase any electronics from an unknown party, check first to see if the items are marked with Eugene School District 4J identification. The majority of the laptops were Macintosh.
A reward is being offered by the Eugene School District 4J for information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of the person or persons responsible for the thefts. Contact the Eugene Police Property Crimes Unit at 541.682.5171 with any information about these crimes.
