Dog-gone Easter egg hunt, Saturday – April 4

Greenhill Humane Society is hiding 1,000 dog-treat-filled Easter eggs all over its property.

EasterEgg Bring your pooch on Saturday, April 4, from 11 am to 1 pm to sniff out the scent-sational treats. The lucky dogs that find a gold, silver or bronze egg will win special prizes. After the hunt, complimentary sweets and refreshments will be available.

Registration will begin on the day of the event at 10:30 am and the hunt will begin at 11 am. Cost is $5 per egg-hunting dog (to benefit Greenhill). For more information, send email or call 541.689.1503.

Note:

  • All egg hunters must bring their own egg basket or sack
  • Dog owners should dress appropriately for wet weather and field conditions (boots, rain jackets, etc.)
  • Dog water stations and scooping bags will be provided
  • All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times
  • Dogs must be friendly and social with other dogs
  • Owners must stay with their dogs at all times
